IPython Trac: CLOSED

Please note that this Trac is now only used for tracking existing tickets and to keep old code of historical interest. All IPython source code hosting and bug tracking has been moved over to Launchpad, we now use Bazaar for version control. The IPython wiki includes a section for developers with all the relevant guidelines.

The SVN repository hosted here is now purely for historical reference, but no new work has been committed to it since February 2008, and no new work will. We will however not delete it, as only the trunk was migrated over to Launchpad. Some experimental work that was done in SVN branches will thus remain accessible here for the foreseeable future.

Tickets

To submit a new bug report for IPython, please go to the Launchpad bug tracker where the bugs can be tracked along with the corresponding code.

Note however that we will keep all tickets that have been reported so far here until they are properly taken care of; the existing ticket database will not disappear. We are moving to launchpad only for new tickets.

Some random old items, will be deleted soon once we're sure they've been safely migrated elsewhere.

• There's a NoteBook wiki node now, with more details regarding that sub-project.
• This is the NbshellManual which is also part of manual_base.lyx in the tzanko branch of IPython. We are documenting the XML file format here.
• A list of TracNotes, about how to use Trac.

The basic trac welcome information has been moved to a separate page.
