[SciPy-dev] Finish the stats review ?

Hi there,

    Last year, the statistics review was launched, but it is far from 
being done: http://projects.scipy.org/scipy/scipy/wiki/StatisticsReview

    I think it would be nice to have a cleaned stats module. Would other 
people willing to finish it: in particular, removing unnecessary 
functions (providing facility available elsewhere, eg numpy), adding 
tests, etc... ?
